I’m a Lifesaver! Facebook Winner Chooses Charities

SAHealthBlog ~ Official Methodist Healthcare Blog

Note from blog editor: During the month of May, Methodist Healthcare launched a transplant donor awareness campaign, encouraging fans to declare they had officially changed their Facebook status to be an organ donor. The winner is Nikki Yuill, LCSW, a social worker in the oncology unit at Methodist Hospital. Nikki was thrilled to have the chance to be a “philanthropist” and had a tough time choosing a charity. She settled on three organizations: WINGS, SLEW and Gulu Hope. In this blog, Nikki shares more about the charities she chose and why.
