No hospital can hold organ donor advocate Helene Campbell, who was back at her "home away from home" in Toronto on Friday.
The Barrhaven woman's recovery from a double-lung transplant hit a minor setback earlier this week when she was readmitted to hospital with trouble breathing. But she is free again after doctors administered a battery of tests so they can tweak her treatment, her mother Manon wrote in a blog post early Friday morning.
Rejection and infection remain concerns as she continues her recovery.
Campbell, 21, had initially been discharged from a Toronto hospital May 4, but began to experience shortness of breath. She went to an emergency room and was readmitted Sunday.
