Suzanne Ahmie- Mother, Sister, Kidney RecipientI Dash For: Raising Awareness For A Second Chance
Gift of Life Donor Program’s Annual Dash For Organ and Tissue Donor Awareness brings together people from all walks of life to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation. With thousands of supporters each year, each one has a special reason for participating in the event. With a wide range of recipients, recipient families, donor families, living donors, and members of the community that feel passionate about the cause, The Dash has been able to grow each year.
In the upcoming weeks, Gift of Life will share some of the stories of participants, and why they choose to Dash. For more Dash information, visit our Facebook and Twitter.
Today’s Dash story features the story of Suzanne Ahmie, who has been able to live a full life because of the living kidney donation of her brother. Suzanne and her daughters now honor Bob, her brother, along with all of the other recipients and donors at the Dash, with their team BROTHER BOB’S BEAN!
