KMVT Twin Falls, ID News | Jay Michaels and Diane Dean
TWIN FALLS, ID (KMVT) Millions of people across the U.S. tune in to see the floats in the Rose Parade on New Year's Day.
This time around, Lacey Haye from Kimberly will be honored. Lacey attended the College of Southern Idaho, and signed up to be an organ donor. She died four years ago after losing control of a small motorcycle and slid into oncoming traffic. She was 19.
Lacey donated both kidneys, her liver, pancreas, and both corneas. Four people benefited from Lacey's decision. Now her picture made out of flowers and seeds will appear on the Donate Life float in the Rose Bowl Parade.
