Business of the Year: Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates to mark 25th anniversary, has more than 1 million Kentuckians on donor registry

As Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates looks toward its 25th anniversary in 2012, it can take satisfaction in its recent accomplishments.

The federally certified organ and tissue procurement organization for Kentucky, Southern Indiana and Western Virginia had a record number people say “yes” to becoming organ donors last year, and 301 Kentuckians — a record number — received organ transplants.
